Exploring Emotions Underlying Behaviors

​Step 1: Take Stock of Your Emotions

  • Parenting is a challenge, and any reaction to turbulence is valid in the moment.
  • In those moments, you might need a simple strategy to help calm things down before re-engaging.
  • If your kid is with you, invite them to join you.
