Project RISE teaches you how being treated negatively because of your identities can affect you, as well as strategies to overcome these effects so you can live the life you would like to live.
What have we learned about this intervention so far?
538 teens have completed Project RISE in a randomized trial. Overall, those who completed the SSI reported an immediate decrease in internalized stigma for their identities and increase in identity pride, as well as a longer-term decrease in internalized stigma after two weeks.
